  • Serve as the spokesperson for the City of Perrysburg which includes administration, public service, public utilities, police, and fire divisions.

  • Inform the public about all things pertaining to city services, announcements, or events through multiple forms of communication including: Website, social media, monthly e-newsletter, and various local media outlets.

  • Work closely with the media to get messages out to the public accurately and in a timely manner. This includes writing press releases and weekly communication updates.

  • Create all marketing materials related to the city.

  • Manage city social media pages, including the mayor.

  • Attend bi-weekly staff meetings with directors and managers to gather information for internal and external newsletters.
